The team of environmental engineers of the Kuwait Environment Protection Society confirmed that the “Fourth Kuwaiti-Arab Youth Forum” under the slogan “Leadership and Innovation in Water Efficiency,” which was organized by the Kuwaiti Water Society in cooperation with the Arab Planning Institute and sponsored by the Public Authority for Youth for 3 days at the Institute’s headquarters, supports and promotes youth creativity and innovation for water efficiency and sustainability initiatives in the State of Kuwait.
Engineer Yousef Al-Ramzi, the official spokesperson for the team and representative of the Environment Society at the forum, pointed out that “the creative and innovative initiatives and projects included in the forum aim to learn how to preserve water and develop innovative and creative solutions to meet future water challenges,” adding: “In light of the challenges, creativity and innovation become the way to provide that water sustainability,” praising the role of the Kuwait Water Society in this regard.
Mr. Al-Ramzi noted that the dialogue sessions addressed “the leadership of youth ideas, strategies and advanced technologies that can be applied with the aim of achieving leadership in water efficiency to meet future water challenges, as well as presenting ideas and initiatives that aim to achieve water sustainability and Kuwait Vision 2035.”.
He stated that the scientific dialogue sessions enriched the exchange of water-related information on the foundations of preserving water resources and achieving social responsibility, highlighting modern technologies that would enhance practices in water conservation, and strengthened scientific and technical cooperation between research and technical institutions to overcome water challenges, benefit from Arab and global experiences and transfer technology in the field of water, in addition to showcasing the best youth scientific initiatives and practices in the field of water.
