Dr. Al-Aqab further clarified that "her meeting with Engineer Tariq Bani Yassin discussed various forms and methods of cooperation between the two sides, including framing it in a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening collaboration in joint training, applied, knowledge-based, and awareness-raising areas. This also includes enabling the association's teams and committees to participate in field trips and visits, as well as other activities that will undoubtedly enrich joint community environmental work and enhance the environmental contributions of civil society organizations in both countries. She commended the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations at the Ministry of Social Affairs for its commitment to monitoring the programs and activities of public benefit associations, especially those with an international dimension, including international agreements. She praised the department's director, Ms. Iman Al-Anzi, for her dedication to overcoming all difficulties and obstacles that civil organizations may face. She noted that "signing the memorandum does not entail any financial costs for either party within the scope of environmental work that aligns with their objectives and their role in protecting the environment and attracting successful initiatives." She pointed out that "the memorandum is valid for three years and is renewable unless one party objects in writing and notifies the other."
