Dr. Manaf Behbehani, Chairman of the Wildlife Protection Committee at the Kuwait Environment Protection Society, expressed the Society's gratitude to Ms. Evelyn Nolofo, Minister of Environment, Climate, and Wildlife of the Republic of Zimbabwe, on the sidelines of his participation in the 15th Conference of the Parties to the Ramsar Convention (Wetlands). He thanked her for the warm official welcome, represented by His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe, who officially opened the conference, and also for the excellent arrangements, services, and resources provided by the State of Kuwait to ensure the conference's success. In turn, the Minister of Environment, Climate, and Wildlife of Zimbabwe expressed her appreciation for the Society's participation in the conference and her pleasure at meeting the Society's representative, wishing the Society continued success and progress. Dr. Behbehani, the Society's representative at the conference, noted that the most important decision of the conference was the approval of the Strategic Plan for the Convention 2025-2034.
