Dr. Wajdan Al-Aqab, Head of the National Committee of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) in Kuwait and President of the Kuwait Environment Protection Society, praised the efforts of the Kuwaiti Ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Hamad Rashid Al-Marri, in providing logistical support to the Society's delegation during its working meetings in Amman. These meetings included discussions with His Excellency the Jordanian Minister of Environment, Dr. Muawiya Al-Radaideh, as well as with Dr. Razan Mubarak, President of the IUCN, and Dr. Hani Al-Shaer, the IUCN Regional Director for West Asia. The purpose of these meetings was to discuss the importance of marketing and highlighting the work and achievements of IUCN members, particularly in the West Asia region. Dr. Al-Aqab also commended Ambassador Al-Marri's logistical support for the Society's delegation meeting with the Jordanian Ambulance Association, headed by Dr. Yanal Al-Ajlouni. She expressed her appreciation for the Ambassador's vital role in promoting community-based environmental work, as exemplified by the Kuwait Environment Protection Society delegation. She noted the coordination and cooperation between the Embassy and the Society's delegation, which contributed to the smooth and successful conduct of the delegation's numerous meetings during its visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. She pointed out the extension and diversity of the meetings, including a meeting with the head of the Jordanian Friends of Heritage Association, Engineer Tariq Bani Yassin, to prepare and discuss areas of joint work, including the memorandum of understanding between the two associations, which extends for the next three years, as well as the directive of His Excellency the Ambassador to allocate a car for the Kuwait Environment Protection Society delegation during its stay in the capital, Amman, to attend related meetings or to conduct environmental work visits.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
