“As part of efforts to strengthen partnerships between civil society organizations and the private sector, Engineer Abdulaziz Al-Muhanna, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Environment Protection Society, announced the launch of a new visual identity for the Society. This initiative was a voluntary effort by the company Rivina, led by Engineer Sarah Al-Ramzi.” Engineer Abdulaziz Al-Muhanna explained that “the initiative included the development of a comprehensive identity guide, encompassing fonts, colors, and logo usage guidelines, ensuring a unified identity across all publications, the website, and social media platforms.”.
He added, “This initiative underscores the growing role of corporate social responsibility, which is based on leveraging professional expertise to serve the community. The initiative is not merely symbolic; it contributes to developing corporate communication tools, enhancing sustainability, and improving the association’s presence and awareness campaigns in line with best practices.” Eng. Sarah Al-Ramzi, Director of Rafina Company, explained, “Visual identity is a fundamental pillar in building a corporate image. It represents an integrated system that reflects the organization’s personality, mission, and values through its visual elements, most notably the logo, colors, fonts, design styles, and their application.”.
The visual identity contributes to unifying the organization's image, enhancing trust and credibility, and solidifying the association's presence among its audience, thus ensuring consistency in its media and awareness messages across various print and digital platforms and channels. Eng. Al-Ramzi emphasized, "This initiative reflects the importance of supporting civil society organizations. As a founder of the Environmental Engineers Team and a member of the Kuwait Environment Protection Society, I volunteered my time to develop the new visual identity and its user guide entirely on a voluntary basis and without any compensation, driven by my belief in the importance of supporting environmental work and strengthening the corporate identity of an association that has completed half a century of service.".
The Vice President of the Kuwait Environment Protection Society expressed the Society's "deep appreciation for this initiative, commending the role of young national talents in presenting innovative ideas that support environmental work." He added, "This experience represents a model to be emulated in utilizing national expertise to serve environmental issues and to solidify a culture of collaborative work and social responsibility in the State of Kuwait.".
