+Field initiatives organized by the Kuwait Environment Protection Society in partnership with the Japanese Society in the State of Kuwait since 2000, aimed at protecting the marine and coastal environment and sea turtle habitats and promoting positive environmental behavior in the community.
Open the process pageSince 2001International Day for Preventing the Exploitation of the Environment in War and Armed Conflict (November 6)
+An annual celebration commemorates the elevation of a national day—the extinguishing of the last burning oil well in 1991—to an international day, a move initiated by the Kuwait Environment Protection Society with the support of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2001 by United Nations General Assembly Resolution (A/RES/56/4). The awareness campaign for November 6th was launched in 2017.

+An annual celebration that raises awareness of disaster risks and how to deal with them, according to the Sendai Framework (2015-2030). The society is a member of the United Nations Disaster Risk Reduction Programme (UNDRR), a member of the Global Network of Civil Society Organizations for Disaster Risk Reduction (GNDR), and the founder of the National Committee (GNDR-KUWAIT) since 2022.

2025The first forum and exhibition for environmental engineers
+A forum specializing in environmental engineering, organized by the Environmental Engineers Team in the Society, brings together environmental engineers and stakeholders to present environmental projects that contribute to protecting the environment from an engineering perspective. The first edition was launched in 2025.
