The head of the photography team is a member of the board of trustees of the Artonist Festival in Iran.

منح مجلس الأمانة العامة لمهرجان “أرتونيست” الإيراني الثقافي الدولي رئيس فريق التصوير الفوتوغرافي بالجمعية الكويتية لحماية البيئة سميرة الخليفة عضويته وتعيينها لمنصب المدير التنفيذي للمهرجان بدولة الكويت وعضوية إحدى لجان تحكيمه. وأكدت سميرة الخليفة أنها تلقت كتابا باختيارها عضوا في مجلس الأمانة العامة للمهرجان إضافة إلى توليها منصب المدير التنفيذي له بدولة الكويت، مضيفة أنها تلقت دعوة للمشاركة في عضوية لجنة تحكيم “قسم التصوير الفوتوغرافي” بالمهرجان المزمع انطلاق لجان تحكيمه بجمهورية إيران الإسلامية خلال شهر أكتوبر المقبل.

She pointed out that the festival includes 3 sections in the fields of “photography, poster and cartoon” and gold medals are awarded to the winners whose work is in these categories, noting that the justifications for her nomination to the two positions and to the judging committee came from her overall work in the field of photography and her participation in local, regional and international specialized festivals, competitions and conferences.

Samira Al-Khalifa explained that the festival selects only one person to represent his country to become a member of the General Secretariat Council, while at the same time assuming the executive secretariat of the festival in his country. She pointed out that the festival sections assigned their judging committees to 15 experts in each field, with 5 experts each responsible for judging the works of each section, which are included in the fields of life, activities and daily behaviors, as well as nature with all its elements and components. She explained that the memberships of the General Secretariat Council, the judging committees and the executive secretariats include, in addition to the State of Kuwait, experts from the countries of Iran, Syria, Poland, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Russia, Denmark, Egypt and Germany.
