The association launches the 17th season of the “Green Schools” program in its new format

As part of its plan to enhance environmental awareness among students and instill the concepts of sustainability and environmental responsibility in the school environment, the Kuwait Environment Protection Society announced the launch of the 17th edition of its educational and awareness program, "Green Schools," in its new format, coinciding with the start of the first semester of the 2026-2027 academic year. The program includes a range of interactive activities, lectures, and programs that complement the curriculum.

On World Environment Day, the society calls for the protection of environmental heritage through continued financial and logistical support.

The society supports national efforts in the areas of food security through its environmental education programs.

The Kuwait Environment Protection Society stated that its efforts and roles in environmental education align with and support the plans and programs of relevant government entities, including the Ministries of Education and Higher Education and Scientific Research, in addition to being consistent with international partnership programs aimed at enhancing food security and sustainability.
