The association concludes its second participation in Expo Dubai: The Gulf Environmental Network is a unified entity for joint action.

The Kuwait Environment Protection Society concluded its second participation in Expo 2020 Dubai by completing its program plan, which included workshops, lectures, and multiple panel discussions within the activities of the “Urban and Rural Development” week, in front of visitors to the State of Kuwait’s pavilion. Janan Behzad, Secretary General of the Society and Secretary General of the Gulf Network of Environmental NGOs, presented her lecture on the journey, roles, and programs of the network regionally and internationally over the past 20 years.
In front of 600 participants, the association called for promoting the concept of restoring natural systems.

The Kuwait Environment Protection Society called for strengthening the concept of “restoring natural ecosystems” through reimagining and rebuilding efforts, and supporting the concepts and values of those endeavors aimed at safeguarding and protecting these highly sensitive natural systems and their habitats. The training program graduates 470 trainees from 21 Arab and foreign countries.

The Kuwait Environment Protection Society concluded its specialized environmental training program, held virtually at its Sabah Al-Ahmad Environmental Training Center, by announcing the graduation of 470 trainees. These trainees participated in nine training courses delivered by ten Kuwaiti and Arab experts over a period of approximately 40 days. The Society's Secretary-General, Jenan Behzad, stated that the ten trainers presented specialized courses in various environmental sciences.
The network welcomes the outcomes of the Gulf summit.

Dr. Wajdan Al-Aqab, President of the Gulf Network of Environmental NGOs, announced the network's support for the outcomes of the Gulf Summit, which witnessed the restoration of Gulf unity and the removal of the causes of the dispute between the four countries for more than three years. Dr. Al-Aqab indicated that the network, with all members of its executive office, expressed its gratitude for the efforts of the Gulf leaders, praising the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for hosting the summit.
