Dr. Al-Aqab: Lieutenant General Anwar Al-Barjas directs the strengthening of cooperation between the Ministry of Interior and the society.
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant General Anwar Al-Barjas, received in his office Dr. Wajdan Al-Aqab, President of the Kuwait Environment Protection Society, in order to enhance cooperation and environmental partnership between the Ministry of Interior and the Society, and to promote the success of efforts to produce a series of documentary programs to document wildlife in the State of Kuwait, in which the Ministry enters as an original partner of the Society in protecting the environment, within the framework of activating the cooperation protocol between the Ministry and the Society.
The society awarded him honorary membership and the Cultural Seasons Shield.
Dr. Wajdan Al-Aqab, President of the Kuwait Environment Protection Society, expressed “the gratitude and appreciation of the Board of Directors, members of the General Assembly, and the specialized teams and committees of the Society for the rapid response of the Minister of Information and Culture, Dr. Hamad Rouh Al-Din, to present the model episode of its eighth season to document wildlife in the State of Kuwait, which reflects the interest of the state’s media apparatus in supporting it and contributing to its dissemination.”.
“Disaster Risk Reduction” is a week-long awareness program by the society.
Dr. Wajdan Al-Aqab, President of the Kuwait Environment Protection Society, announced that the scale and diversity of local, regional, and international events through which the Society participates in the global celebrations of the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction reflect the importance it attaches to the content and symbolism of these events, commensurate with the stature and value of the participating scientists and experts, and consequently, the implications thereof.
