Lawyers Association
The Secretary-General of the Association, Jenan Behzad, said that the activities of the «Field Environmental Training Week,» which were held at the headquarters of the Kuwaiti Lawyers Association to activate the cooperation protocol between the two associations, included a program of scientific lectures, workshops and dialogue sessions between the lecturers and the participating students.

Specialized lectures
Behzad added, «The activities included 4 specialized lectures, during which the Director of the Environmental Police Department, Colonel Hussein Al-Ajmi, gave his lecture, addressing the most prominent roles of the Environmental Police and presenting the most important proposed jobs in this regard, which was met with great interest from the students.«.
She noted that Dr. Ibtisam Al-Rifai presented her lecture on behalf of the Environment Public Authority, during which she addressed the concept of «judicial control,» its areas, violations, and the cooperation of judicial officers with many entities in order to monitor and reduce environmental violations and transgressions. She pointed out that lawyer Fahd Al-Badr, head of the Committee for the Defense of the Environment at the Kuwaiti Lawyers Association, addressed in his lecture the Environmental Protection Law, highlighting the most prominent deterrent penalties included in the law, in the context of urging people to be keen on protecting the environment in the country.

She explained that the Secretary-General of the Association, Janan Behzad, presented her scientific lecture, speaking about climate change and its environmental effects on more than one sector of life, including her discussion of the climatic effects on various environments, including coastal, desert and atmospheric environments, guided by examples of the effects of climate on wildlife, the components of terrestrial and desert environments, weather fluctuations and heavy rainfall.
Providing opportunities. For her part, the head of the association, Wajdan Al-Aqab, confirmed that the «Field Environmental Training Week» was keen to provide opportunities for students to enter sites that may not be easy to access, such as military bases and nature reserves, in addition to moving them to environmentally sensitive sites to present scientific lectures in the field and field workshops, in consideration of consolidating the environmental study culture in their minds.

Elite lecturers and partners
Al-Aqab expressed the association's gratitude and appreciation to the distinguished lecturers, specialists, and participating students. She commended the cooperation of numerous entities in the country for providing logistical support for the week's events, including the Environment Public Authority, the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research, Kuwait University, the Coast Guard, the Environmental Police, Kuwait Oil Company, the Public Relations and Media Group of the Sheikh Ahmed Al-Jaber Oil and Gas Exhibition, and the Kuwait Lawyers Association. She praised the efforts of the leaders of these entities and their commitment to overcoming any obstacles faced by the week's team and participating students, emphasizing that their cooperation falls within the framework of the distinguished environmental partnership between them and the Kuwait Environment Protection Society.
