Some reports mentioned seeing a few nests of the desert lark, but there are no pictures or videos of these nests. He added: »The monitoring process began to follow the bird, and on March 2nd, two chicks were found in the nest. The monitoring continued until March 10th, and a few days later it was confirmed that the chicks had left the nest with their mother.«.

Second nest
He added: «A second nest was also discovered on March 16 by Youssef Dhiab and Saleh Ashkanani, containing 5 one-day-old chicks, and the monitoring of the second nest is still ongoing.».

The member of the Environmental Society pointed out that "this documentation, with photos and videos, is the first of its kind for a desert lark's nest in the Al-Shaqaya protected area by the Ministry of Interior, where the land has returned to its former state thanks to this protection." He added, "Many nests of resident birds such as the hoopoe, the hornbill, and the red-legged lark are present, as well as some rare plants that are only found in this area, such as the Al-Alanda tree." He thanked the Ministry of Interior for facilitating the monitoring process and praised the officers and personnel of the protected area for providing all the necessary support to the researchers.
