Dr. Wajdan Al-Aqab, President of the Kuwait Environment Protection Society, emphasized the importance of the roles played by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences in the fields of science and knowledge, and its promotion of research and scientific studies sectors for young people, as well as its cooperation with the Society in many of its programs and activities. This came during her meeting with Dr. Saleh Al-Aqili, Deputy Director General for Departments and Supporting Programs at the Foundation.
Dr. Al-Aqab confirmed that the meeting addressed the educational projects and program plans of the association through which the institution cooperates as a partner in protecting the environment with the association. She explained that the institution’s entitlement to the “Documentary Programs” shield comes as a reflection of its strategic support for the documentary series on wildlife in the State of Kuwait, which the association presents over 8 consecutive seasons as a gift to the environmental visual library to enrich it and push it towards excellence and comprehensiveness of knowledge content. She explained that the association’s board of directors, on behalf of its general assembly members, staff and experts, and on behalf of all followers and viewers of the documentary series on wildlife in the State of Kuwait, commends the strategic support from the institution, which contributes to its continuity and its annual continuation.
