The society awarded him honorary membership and the Cultural Seasons Shield.

Dr. Wajdan Al-Aqab, President of the Kuwaiti Society for Environmental Protection, expressed “the gratitude and appreciation of the Board of Directors, members of the General Assembly, and the specialized teams and committees of the Society for the rapid response of the Minister of Information and Culture, Dr. Hamad Rouh Al-Din, to present the model episode of its eighth season to document wildlife in the State of Kuwait, which reflects the interest of the state’s media apparatus in supporting it and contributing to its dissemination.”.

Dr. Al-Aqab said that she met with Dr. Hamad Rouh Al-Din at his office in the Ministry of Information to present the model episode of the «Every Day a Plant 2» program, and he expressed his admiration for the scientific content he saw, which is the result of the efforts of a team of volunteer staff from the association and experts concerned with wild plants in Kuwait. He praised the idea of the program, hoping that it would be an addition to the library of visual environmental media in Kuwait and the region. She commended the Minister’s directive to include the “Every Day a Plant 2” program in the program schedule for the coming month of Ramadan. She explained that the model episode that she presented to the Minister, which is the episode on the Al-Adhar plant, reflects the extent of the association’s keenness to show the elements and components of wild plant life in the country, as well as highlighting the environmental roles of many governmental bodies, agencies and the private sector that are its partners in protecting the environment.

During the meeting, the President of the Environment Society presented the Minister of Information, Dr. Hamad Rouh El-Din, with an interactive shield for the documentary series documenting wildlife in the State of Kuwait. The shield included a QR code to watch the eight episodes of the series, marking the launch of the eighth season, titled "A Plant Every Day - Part Two." Al-Aqab continued, "As an initiative to honor and express the Society's gratitude for His Excellency's generous media support, we have presented him with honorary membership in the Society. This reflects the appreciation the Environment Society holds for the leaders and officials of the Ministry of Information, with whom the Society collaborates." She added, "The Kuwaiti public has become accustomed to watching this series during Ramadan, as it contributes to the success of the desired environmental awareness campaign. The Society extends its sincere thanks to the Ministry of Information for its commitment to continuing to broadcast such cultural documentaries on Kuwait TV, in addition to the Ministry's efforts to translate them into English to benefit different segments of the population.".
