The Kuwait Environment Protection Society confirmed the participation of the Ministry of Interior as an environmental partner and logistical supporter in the fourth season of its television series to monitor and document marine wildlife through the participation of several of its sectors in the initial external trips for the educational documentary television program that the Society is preparing to be shown daily on Kuwait TV screens during the upcoming Ramadan season.
Al-Aqab praised the interest and support of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant General Mahmoud Al-Dousari, for the association’s activities, noting his continuous directives to provide the program’s logistical requirements, in addition to accompanying and providing protection for the team and overcoming any obstacles they may face during all stages of filming outside the monitoring and documentation sites.
Al-Aqab stated that the program’s external field work this week included (the association’s partners in environmental protection) represented in the Ministry of Interior through its various sectors, praising the Coast Guard sector, the Public Security sector, the Public Relations and Security Media sector, and the Environmental Police Department, commending the efforts of Brigadier General Adel Al-Hashash, Director of the Public Relations and Security Media Department.
Wajdan Al-Aqab stated that the Environmental Media and Documentation Center team, comprised of highly qualified volunteers, is currently completing the intensive fieldwork for the fourth season of the association's television series documenting marine wildlife. The work has been expanded beyond the previously planned two to three consecutive days per week, now encompassing a greater number of days of observation and documentation. She noted that field monitoring and filming continued daily throughout the last four days of the New Year holiday, resulting in a substantial and high-quality collection of footage. Al-Aqab commended the Ministry of Interior leadership for their prompt response and provision of logistical support during the holiday. She also expressed her gratitude to Rear Admiral Mubarak Al-Omairi, Director General of the Coast Guard, for his cooperation, which reflects a strong sense of responsibility towards the association's efforts to raise community awareness.
She added, “The subsequent filming phases of the series in the coming days and weeks will witness the participation of many other government agencies concerned with environmental partnership with the Environmental Protection Association, which are keen to provide logistical support annually for its documentary and television programs and activities, which will be announced later.”.
