Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Environmental Training at the Environment Society offers its specialized training program virtually

The Kuwaiti Society for Environmental Protection announced the opening of registration for free specialized training courses organized by the Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Environmental Training in the Society in cooperation with the Research Group for Natural Ecosystems and Technology, Wara Environmental Consulting Company, and the Arab Network for Environment and Development.

Nawaf Al-Muwail, the general coordinator of the specialized training courses program and a member of the association, said that the Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Specialized Environmental Training at the association organizes these comprehensive programs virtually via Zoom technology, coinciding with the national holidays, with the aim of spreading correct scientific awareness related to the program's course themes, as well as expanding the circle of preparing and qualifying national volunteer cadres with high efficiency according to the training plan set up, noting that the program includes 9 different courses.

Al-Muwail confirmed that registration for the program is through the association's electronic registration website, revealing that participation in the first two days of the program's launch included more than 100 participants from 10 Arab and Gulf countries.
He explained: “The association launched 9 specialized training programs during the month, and all courses are free on the occasion of the national holidays, with the participation of specialized personnel from Kuwait and Arab countries in presenting the courses, which number 10 trainers and experts in various environmental fields, which include environmental conservation, environmental policies, environmental and program planning, and specialized programs in technology to protect the environment from degradation.” He added: “The private sector, represented by the Research Group for Natural Ecosystems and Technology and Wara Environmental Consulting Company, presents a scientific summary of applied and research experiences in 4 courses aimed at linking environmental policies and modern technology in the development plan and future projects.”.

The general coordinator of the specialized training program announced the participation of the Arab Network for Environment and Development “Raed”, represented in the program by Dr. Emad El-Din Adly, who will present a course on regional challenges in facing climate change in the world. The Arab Network for Non-Governmental Organizations, which includes about 250 members from Arab countries in North Africa and West Asia, aims to develop, improve and coordinate the work of its members, strengthen ties and contribute to achieving environmental and developmental integration. The Kuwaiti Society for Environmental Protection is a member and undertakes the tasks of the national coordinator in the State of Kuwait for the network.”.
