Diplomatic missions visit the association's pavilion at the Red Palace

“The Kuwait Environment Protection Society, in its pavilion dedicated to its environmental awareness campaign for the people of Al-Jahra Governorate, which it is organizing inside the Red Palace for the third week in a row, received a delegation of representatives of the diplomatic missions of 19 embassies accredited in Kuwait,” this came in a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the Society, Eng. Maali Al-Aqab.

M. Al-Aqab stated that “members and representatives of the diplomatic missions visiting the association’s pavilion included Ambassador Nkululeko Dlamini, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Eswatini, Ambassador Eduardo Patricio Peña Haller, Ambassador of Mexico, and his wife, Mrs. Maria Laura Duclode Villares, His Excellency Murtala Jimoh, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Nigeria, Ambassador of Burkina Faso, Assani Tamboura, Minister Plenipotentiary and Counselor at the Embassy of Myanmar, Nyan Lin Aung, Minister Plenipotentiary Mrs. Naamatu Zeblam Adam, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the Republic of Ghana, and Mrs. Anatoly Ivanov Minkov, Consul and Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Bulgaria.”.

She praised the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters and the Red Palace administration for attracting diplomatic bodies to visit the palace and learn about the heritage, announcing that “the diplomatic delegation also included the Consul at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan, Firuz Ghoybov, Prem Raj Gautam, First Secretary at the Embassy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, Ms. Shaima Mustafa, Personal Assistant to the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, Ms. Safa Lahroud, Educational Officer at the Embassy of the French Republic, Ms. Marie Louise, Deputy Head of Mission and Consul at the Embassy of Malta, Ramdani Haishi, representing the Embassy of Tanzania, Farouk Mustafa from the Embassy of Turkey, Ms. Malik Chidzanga, First Secretary, Embassy of Malawi, Ms. Asma Bogendar, Secretary for Social Affairs at the Embassy of France, Ambassador Eugene M. Nugent, Apostolic Nuncio, Head of Mission at the Embassy of the Vatican, and Father Fernando Grande Frias, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the Vatican.”.

She noted the “interaction and participation of the visiting diplomatic and scientific elites at the Kuwait Environment Protection Society’s pavilion with members of the Bird Monitoring and Protection Team, members of the Environmental Youth Team, and the Friends of the Environment Team, in whom the Society invests time, effort, and training to be able to convey the environmental information they receive in various training programs within the Society to the community, and through which they contributed to the implementation of some of the practical themes formed by the numerous technical workshops in the event.”

M. Al-Aqab concluded, “The diplomatic visit ended with the enthusiasm of the diplomats, including ambassadors and embassy representatives, to participate and record the environmental message (a message from the community to the community) and express their desire to organize environmental events in cooperation with the association dedicated to the members of their communities in the State of Kuwait, something that the association has always succeeded in implementing and involving the diplomatic community in.”.
