Environmental cooperation between the association and the Kuwait Gulf Oil Company
”We are proud to participate in the Kuwaiti Environmental Engineers Forum and Exhibition, organized by the Kuwait Environment Protection Society. The event brought together Kuwaiti engineers who have graduated from American universities over the years, united by a shared goal of a sustainable environmental future.” This was emphasized by Mishal Ghazi Al-Hindi, Director of the Services and Information Technology Group at Kuwait Gulf Oil Company, during a meeting at his office with several company leaders.
The association awards the "Environmental Excellence Medal" to the Minister of Oil.
Dr. Wajdan Al-Aqab, President of the Kuwait Environment Protection Society and Head of the Higher Organizing Committee for the First Kuwaiti Environmental Engineers Forum and Exhibition, presented the Minister of Oil, Tariq Suleiman Al-Roumi, with the Environmental Excellence Medal in recognition and appreciation of His Excellency's commitment to supporting the team and young environmental activists within the Society. This took place during the Minister of Oil's reception of Dr. Wajdan Al-Aqab and her accompanying delegation at his office.
The association participates in the training workshop “Sustainable Cities: Policies and Research”
In light of the demographic shifts taking place in cities around the world and the worsening climate crisis, they are also becoming hotspots for socio-economic inequalities that disproportionately affect certain communities. By adopting a comprehensive approach, the Kuwait Environment Protection Society participated in the training workshop “Sustainable Cities: Research Policies” implemented by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences over two days.

The society is organizing the first Kuwaiti Environmental Engineers Forum and Exhibition
Representing His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Oil Minister Tariq Sulaiman Al-Roumi inaugurated the first Kuwaiti Environmental Engineers Forum and Exhibition, organized by the Kuwait Environment Protection Society from the 5th to the 6th of this month. The society participates in the regional Environment Day celebration
“The Kuwait Environment Protection Society participated in the Regional Environment Day celebration organized by the Regional Organization for the Protection of the Marine Environment, under the patronage of the organization's Executive Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Al-Ahmad. Dr. Wajdan Al-Aqab, President of the Kuwait Environment Protection Society, confirmed that her meeting with His Excellency the Minister of Oil and Chairman of the Supreme Council for the Environment, Tariq Suleiman Al-Roumi, at his office addressed numerous environmental issues in the State of Kuwait, both in their executive aspect, represented by the Environment Public Authority, and their societal aspect, represented by the Society. The meeting emphasized the integration of roles for the public good, particularly given the Society's proven competence and efficiency.
