The Kuwait Environment Protection Society considered its participation with six specialized teams and committees in the civil society gathering organized by 16 civil organizations and public benefit associations at the Ibrahim Al-Baghli Hall in the Rumaithiya area as part of introducing the awareness and environmental tasks and roles of those teams and committees, noting that Ramadan evenings and nights are a good occasion that supports its directions to intensify the community and field presence on all levels and occasions.

The team of environmental engineers of the Kuwait Environment Protection Society confirmed that the “Fourth Kuwaiti-Arab Youth Forum” under the slogan “Leadership and Innovation in Water Efficiency,” which was organized by the Kuwaiti Water Society in cooperation with the Arab Planning Institute and sponsored by the Public Authority for Youth for 3 days at the Institute’s headquarters, supports and promotes youth creativity and innovation for water efficiency and sustainability initiatives in the State of Kuwait.

The society is organizing a campaign to raise awareness of the International Day for Preventing the Exploitation of the Environment in War and Armed Conflict.

The Kuwait Environment Protection Society organized its annual campaign for the International Day for Preventing the Exploitation of the Environment in War and Armed Conflict, under the patronage of Kuwait Oil Company CEO Ahmad Al-Eidan, and in the presence of representatives from various state entities, members of the diplomatic corps, civil society organizations, and school students. In her opening remarks, the Society's President, Dr. Wajdan Al-Aqab, founder of the campaign to raise awareness of the day, delivered a speech.

The association participates in the committee meeting to prepare reports and follow up on recommendations related to human rights.

Engineer Yousef Al-Ramzi, the official spokesperson for the Environmental Engineers Team at the Kuwait Environment Protection Society, emphasized “the importance of environmental rights in the State of Kuwait, and the positive impact of observing and adhering to their requirements, not only on citizens and residents, but its impact has become extended and intertwined with all development plans and programs with a strategic dimension, as the environment, in its comprehensive sense, is a key, active, and leading partner in all aspects of life.”.

The association welcomes the adoption of the title “Environmental Engineer” by the Civil Service Bureau.

The Kuwait Environment Protection Society, through its founder and head of the Environmental Engineers Team, Environmental Engineer Sarah Al-Ramzi, affirmed that the Civil Service Commission's inclusion and adoption of the title "Environmental Engineer" among six other job titles recently announced during the workshop "The New Mechanism for Civil Service Commission Nominations for Engineering Titles" is undoubtedly a giant step forward.
