The association is participating with 6 teams and specialized committees in the civil society organizations' gathering in Rumaithiya.

The Kuwait Environment Protection Society considered its participation with six specialized teams and committees in the civil society gathering organized by 16 civil organizations and public benefit associations at the Ibrahim Al-Baghli Hall in the Rumaithiya area as part of introducing the awareness and environmental tasks and roles of those teams and committees, noting that Ramadan evenings and nights are a good occasion that supports its directions to intensify the community and field presence on all levels and occasions.

The Environment Society indicated that the participation of the Environmental Engineers Team, the Environmental Youth Team, the Friends of the Environment Team, the Programs and Activities Department, the Green Schools Program and Public Relations, as well as the participation of the Chairperson of the Board of Directors, Dr. Wajdan Al-Aqab, and the Secretary-General, Janan Behzad, in addition to the publications of the Environment Magazine, enhanced the diverse community presence of the Society, which crowned its participation by distributing the Qarqee’an series of documentary programs on wildlife in Kuwait, which the Society has been producing and presenting annually since 2015.

The association stated that the event is part of its annual activities and programs included in its celebration of its golden jubilee and the passing of 50 years since the start of its journey in 1974, noting that the coming days will witness more community Ramadan presence in this regard.

It is worth mentioning that the sixteen public benefit associations participating in the Ghabga are: the Kuwaiti Cartoon Association, the Amal Kuwaiti Woman Association, the Sports Media Coordinators Association, the Kuwaiti Association for Photographic Arts, the Kuwaiti Association for Amputees, as well as the Kuwaiti Association of Families of Martyrs, Prisoners and Missing Persons, the Kuwaiti Athletes Association, the Kuwaiti Association for Supporting Inventors, the Falconers Association, in addition to the Kuwaiti Association for Educational Differences, the Oil Development Association, the Harak Association for Independent Living for People with Physical Disabilities, the Kuwaiti Association for Following Up on the Issues of the Disabled, the Kuwaiti Association for Science, Technology and Innovation, the Kuwaiti Multiple Sclerosis Association, and the Kuwait Environment Protection Society.
