Specialized bodies, committees, and teams lead voluntary environmental work in Kuwait.
The association operates through a group of specialized committees and teams that cover various areas of environmental work, and contribute to the implementation of programs and initiatives, and the promotion of environmental awareness in the community.

Public Relations Committee
Coordination of activities and cooperation between teams and committees
1. The committee oversees the association's participation in various local environmental exhibitions and events. 2. It focuses on popular and heritage events and opportunities for members to socialize. 3. It monitors the activities of the cultural season, including seminars, lectures, panel discussions, and workshops. 4. It keeps abreast of the activities of the association's committees, bodies, and working groups, as well as the association's activities in general, and works to publish them regularly in local newspapers and magazines.
International Relations Committee
Strengthening international environmental cooperation
It is concerned with Gulf, regional and international relations, and follows up on international participations and the association’s memberships in specialized entities related to environmental issues.

Supervising the dissemination of awareness about the programs
Achieving the goals of various programs in the field of raising environmental awareness among different segments of society, and building cognitive capacities through the implementation of various programs.
Advisory Committee
Providing technical expertise and institutional support
One of the committee’s tasks is to provide scientific opinions on environmental issues and topics in the local arena, in fulfillment of the association’s duty towards the civil society it represents. The association also hopes that this committee will be an aid to the Environment Affairs Committee in both the National Assembly and the Municipal Council in keeping up with local environmental events.

Wildlife Protection Committee
Protecting biodiversity and endangered species
The committee was established in 1994. The committee works to raise awareness of the characteristics of natural wildlife in the State of Kuwait, proposes programs and legislation to protect and sustain it, and supervises the establishment of wildlife exhibitions and the issuance of a series of books on it.
Environmental Monitoring Team
Follow-up on complaints and environmental monitoring
It is responsible for keeping up with issues and following up on citizens’ complaints and inquiries regarding environmental phenomena and problems on the local scene.
Bird monitoring and protection team
Attention to resident and migratory birds
A team comprising a distinguished elite of those interested in monitoring and protecting migratory and resident birds in Kuwait and preparing suitable reserves and natural habitats for them.
Environmental Photography and Documentation Team
Enhancing photographic documentation skills
Monitoring the positives and negatives in the Kuwaiti environment, raising awareness of the proper methods of artistic photography and demonstrating its role in spreading environmental culture.

Kuwait Sea Turtle Protection Group
Conservation of sea turtles
A specialized team for the protection and monitoring of sea turtles in the State of Kuwait, and one of its goals is to work on the reproduction of turtles and protect them from extinction.

Empowering youth in environmental work
It includes young people over the age of eighteen, including university and institute students, to engage in environmental activities.

Specialized environmental engineering initiatives
The team was founded in 2022 to include environmental engineering graduates to apply the outputs of the specialization for the benefit of the Kuwaiti environment.
Terrestrial Environment Protection Committee
Monitoring the health of the terrestrial environment
Paying attention to preserving the terrestrial environment, monitoring negative practices through continuous field visits, and reporting incidents to the relevant authorities to take the necessary action.

Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Environmental Training
Developing environmental cognitive abilities and skills
The center was launched in 2017 following a meeting with the late Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah - may God have mercy on him - to provide a range of specialized and awareness training courses, in addition to its distinction in expert workshops that provide knowledge resources in the environmental field.
Environmental Documentation and Media Center
Environmental Media Core
It was launched in 2010 and took upon itself the tasks of visual and audio environmental media to develop environmental culture through the production of awareness flashes to highlight the Kuwaiti environment and the launch of the association's YouTube channel.
Editorial Board for Publications
Disseminating accurate environmental knowledge
It is responsible for supervising the issuance of the following publication series: • Environmental Issues Bulletin Series • Environmental Awareness Series • Environmental Book Series • Environmental Booklets for Children Series. It is also responsible for amending and reviewing the regulations and systems related to these publications, whether by the members of the Authority or by referring to specialized reviewers according to their subjects and approving their issuance.
Environment Magazine Publishing Board
The leading magazine in the Arab world in the environmental field
This organization oversees the publication of the monthly environmental magazine, which issued its first edition in 1981. It works to provide information, articles, and research to ensure its continued publication, and conducts investigative environmental journalism to cover local activities in environmental fields, serving as a mirror reflecting local environmental efforts undertaken by the association and other relevant bodies. The magazine is also deposited in the Library of Congress in the United States.
