KEPS’s Environmental Engineers Team takes part in the Kuwait University Student Talent and Innovation Forum and Exhibition

The Environmental Engineers Team of the Kuwait Environment Protection Society attended the Student Talents and Innovation Forum and Exhibition, held under the slogan “Challenge – Innovation – Sustainability,” under the patronage of the Director of Kuwait University, Dr. Dina Musaed Al-Maim, and organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs, at the College of Arts in Sabah Al-Salem University City. The team was represented by Engineer Yousef Alramzi, the official spokesperson and Vice President of the team, and Engineer Alia Al-Amir, a member of the team.

In a press statement on the sidelines of the participation, Mr. Yousef Alramzi pointed out “the importance of such gatherings for male and female students to refine their skills, within the framework of the university’s support for Kuwait Vision 2035, and to promote the goals of sustainable development by discovering creative student talents, nurturing them, and investing in their projects and entrepreneurial ideas in various scientific, literary, social, and artistic fields.”.

He pointed out that “the main general objectives of the Environmental Engineers Team include introducing the team’s efforts and showcasing the projects of its members at internal and external scientific events and gatherings to highlight their innovations and pioneering national projects, and supporting the spirit of positive competition among them, in addition to dedicating the culture of creativity, sustainability and entrepreneurship. The team seeks to contribute to building the path of a conscious generation capable of facing the challenges of society and providing innovative solutions that contribute to driving the national economy.”.

In a similar statement, Engineer Alia Al-Amir noted the students' active and positive participation in the forum's program, which included several sections and activities, most notably an exhibition showcasing student talents and innovations, and specialized training workshops to develop students' skills. Engineer Alia Al-Amir pointed out that while the forum primarily targeted Kuwait University students, along with the participation of academics, researchers, and supporting entities from various governmental and private sectors, it also served as a public event to learn about students' capabilities. This made it a comprehensive platform for communication and the exchange of experiences between students and specialists, as evidenced by the significant interaction from visitors with the projects presented by the students.
