The association is participating in the “Bloommarket” sustainable projects exhibition.”

The Kuwait Environment Protection Society considered that the field activities in which members of the Society’s teams and committees, “environmental engineers, environmental youth, and environmental friends,” participate enhance the methodology of qualifying those teams made up of Kuwaiti youth of both genders, who are the nucleus of national cadres and elites in the Society’s specialized teams and committees, and the Society is keen to ensure the comprehensiveness of their preparation through their participation in various voluntary environmental work.

Engineer Yousef Al-Ramzi, the official spokesperson and Vice President of the Environmental Engineers Team, emphasized “the importance of the private sector’s interest in the Sustainable Development Goals, which have a direct impact on the environment.” He praised “Seeds Consulting, Sustainability and Green Buildings” for inviting the Kuwait Environment Protection Society to participate in the “Bloom Market” Sustainable Projects Exhibition, noting that “Seeds organized the exhibition to bring together projects and companies from the private sector to showcase their sustainability efforts within their work, which contributes to spreading environmental awareness and exchanging experiences among the participating entities.”.

For her part, Yosr Al Mutawa, Chief Sustainability Officer at Seeds Sustainability and Green Building Consulting, the company organizing the exhibition, explained that “the event sought to achieve a set of objectives, most notably supporting and encouraging local and regional brands with sustainable practices within their projects, spreading awareness about sustainability and an environmentally friendly lifestyle, in addition to the importance of providing a platform for conscious shopping and providing an opportunity to learn about innovative and environmentally friendly products, as well as promoting community participation in environmental and educational activities, and creating an interactive environment that combines shopping, learning, and entertainment.”.

Mr. Al-Ramzi noted “the association’s interest in the participation of its members, teams and committees in such field and public events, given their role in honing the skills of young people and preparing them to be the nucleus of national cadres specializing in environmental work,” stressing that “accepting the invitation comes to confirm the role of the Kuwait Environment Protection Society as an active partner in spreading the concepts of sustainability and promoting environmental awareness, by enabling its youth teams to directly engage in community events, which contributes to transferring knowledge and experience to the public and reflects a positive image of the efficiency and qualification of national cadres in the environmental field.”.

Yosr Al-Mutawa stated that “the exhibition included twenty-four participating entities, most notably the sponsors: Al-Rawdatain Company, Tam Digital Bank, Caribou, M2R Company, and the exhibition’s strategic partner, The Avenues. Their members participated in educational workshops for children with the “Be Curious” Nursery, while Kuwait News and Al-Nahar newspaper were the media partners for sustainability.“ She praised the participation of the Kuwait Environment Protection Society in the exhibition and its commitment to engaging its youth in public events related to human development, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. The Society’s participation came through its three teams: the Environmental Engineers Team, the Environmental Youth Team, and the Friends of the Environment Team. They engaged in fieldwork, sharing what they learned from training programs and workshops with the community, thus fulfilling the Society’s goals of building a generation aware of sustainability issues and environmental protection. She commended the ”honorable appearance and remarkable presence of the young people in the three teams, reflecting their high level of training and preparation, which was evident in their distinguished participation in this public event.“.
